WEBINAR | 30 Years of GLOBE: MacroBlitz: Wading In

Join Anne Lewis as she discusses MacroBlitz; a project to inspire and empower people to find and photograph aquatic macroinvertebrates and upload those photos to iNaturalist for science and learning. MacroBlitz is GLOBE-adjacent and will support those with an interest in the freshwater macroinvertebrate protocol. This session will provide an overview of MacroBlitz, an orientation to resources, and an introduction to key MacroBlitz skills.

 

Anne Lewis is the Principal Investigator on the MacroBlitz project. She is also the executive director of the South Dakota Discovery Center in Pierre, SD, a science center with a mission to provide hands-on STEM learning experiences that cultivate curiosity, wonder and lifelong STEM exploration. Anne has her Master's from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN and is a National Geographic Explorer.
